This handsome Victorian building was not listed and it was not situated conservation area, but it was nevertheless seen by the local planning authority to be a 'non-designated heritage asset'. As such it was afforded an elevated level of protection and obtaining planning permission required an especially sensitive approach.
Our clients wanted to make significant alterations to the internal layout of the property - they also wanted to extend it in order to provide six bedrooms with appropriate bathroom facilities.
Our proposals met their brief and planning permission was secured with no objections from neighbours, the parish council or local planning authority.
