We are often approached for feasibility and planning advice. In this instance we were asked if an area of disused land at the edge of a South Oxfordshire village, adjacent to a conservation area and within the North Wessex Downs AONB might be developed.
We believed there was a good chance of success and devised a scheme which would provide four new dwellings on the 0.6 acre site. Key issues to be addressed were vehicular access, any impact on the wider landscape, the nearby conservation area and listed buildings, ecological factors and sustainability.
As a practice we occasionally work with planning consultants but more often than not we fulfil this role in house and provide a complete planning and architectural service. We are proactive and thorough, and as a consequence our success rate is high.
Planning consent was achieved and the completed, high quality development has recieved a positive response from local people.
