Farmoor Court is a high quality rural office development located just four miles from the centre of Oxford. It comprises six self-contained units built in brick, natural stone and timber cladding beneath clay tiled pitched roofs. Internal layouts are such that the units can be further subdivided to allow separate occupation at ground and first floor.
Reception areas, kitchens and toilets are provided together with large open plan office areas and glazed partitioning to meeting rooms. In addition a number of the units benefit from spectacular glazed gable features giving views over the uninterrupted countryside and nearby reservoir.
The sloping site afforded the opportunity to juxtapose varying building forms which are reminiscent of traditional agricultural structures ranged around a central courtyard and the mixed use of materials has created additional interest.
